Several members of the St Augustine Duplicate Bridge Club won first place honors at the sectional tournament held in Jacksonville last weekend. Dorothy Johnson and Barbara McCallon placed first overall in the open pairs on Friday morning, while Ellen and Myron Mensh placed first in the 199er competition. On Friday afternoon, James and Barbara Rhoden finished first overall in the open pairs competition.
Saturday morning saw John Brady and Craig Hemphill place first overall in the open pairs while John Urquhart and Linda Hait placed first in the C stratum of the open pairs. Congratulations to all our winners!
The club wishes a speedy recovery to Elias Ghuneim, Ann Green, and Koen Steendijk. Get well soon, guys. We miss you!
